Our DC link converters offer you maximum performance in the low-voltage range.

Our LC3 bridges the gap between low-voltage and medium-voltage converters. It combines the advantages of both worlds: with a maximum rated voltage of 1000 V, the converter system still falls under the low-voltage directive while delivering maximum performance, meaning that no personnel with special training in medium voltage is required, for example. The modular system offers a wide range of options for implementing special and customized applications.

Features

  • Variable converter system for connecting asynchronous, synchronous, and DC machines, multi-motor systems, active grid rectifiers, grid couplings, and much more.
  • Three-point power converter within the low-voltage directive
  • Max. rated current: 1.5 kA
  • Max. rated voltage: 1.0 kV

Operation

  • Remote control via a wide range of standard communication protocols or, alternatively, via a galvanic interface.
  • For an initial overview, indicator lights for status display are located in the door of the control niche, optionally including a touch panel.
  • Parameterization and display of all internal variables with full resolution and sampling rate via programming software (EM3000).

Application

  • Multi-motor systems (common DC bus)
  • Very high output frequencies (>250 Hz) for fast-rotating machines
  • Integration of DC generators and consumers (e.g., photovoltaics, batteries, DC machines)
  • Active grid rectifiers and grid couplings

Options

  • Advanced field automation, machine monitoring, and protection
  • Advanced control unit for individual systems or drive groups up to the higher-level SCADA system
