Excitation device with integrated power section for exciting brushless synchronous machines or synchronous machines with excitation machine
The excitation unit (XD3S DC) is an excitation unit with an integrated power section for DC currents for exciting synchronous generators and motors. It is designed for operating synchronous machines with low excitation current or auxiliary excitation current requirements.

Operation
Parameterization is performed using the powerful Engineering Manager (EM3000), which is available as PC application software and is connected via the Ethernet service interface.
