"Tag der Ausbildung" in Pirna: Discover technology and foster talents

The 25th annual Career Day in Pirna opened its doors. For several years now, this event has been a regular fixture on our calendar, giving us the opportunity to introduce pupils to the world of electrical engineering and highlight career opportunities at E&A Elektrotechnik und Automatisierung GmbH and F&S PROZESSAUTOMATION GmbH.
Electrical Engineering: An Industry with a Bright Future
Our industry plays a vital role in ensuring a sustainable energy supply and advancing the energy transition. Through our daily work, we ensure that energy is used efficiently, equipment operates reliably, and technical systems can be safely interconnected. That is precisely why it is important to us to inspire young people to pursue technical careers early on and show them the vast potential that lies in electrical engineering and automation technology.
In-depth discussions and the opportunity to try their hand at hands-on activities at our booth attracted numerous visitors. During our wiring competition, the young people were able to experience firsthand just how much skill is required in electrical engineering. In the process, some hidden talents were discovered.

Every year, the "Tag der Ausbildung" demonstrates anew just how important personal interaction with young people is for recruiting the next generation. Many questions are best answered through direct conversation, and a hands-on look at the work often conveys more than any job posting ever could.

A Successful Event for the Next Generation for Years
For us, the "Tag der Ausbildung" in Pirna is much more than just a trade show. The event offers the opportunity to identify talent early on, spark interest in technical careers, and show young people concrete prospects for their future. We’re already looking forward to the next "Tag der Ausbildung" - and perhaps we’ll soon see some of this year’s talented participants again during an internship, an apprenticeship, or a dual degree program at E&A and F&S.
