Contract for the design of a retrofit of the 6 kV and 0.4 kV switchgear at the Salzgitter substation

At Linde AG's Salzgitter site, the medium- and low-voltage switchgear (6 kV / 0.5 kV) needs to be replaced due to its age. The power supply for the remaining 0.5 kV equipment must be converted to 0.4 kV.

To this end, Linde AG has planned the following investments for 2021:

• Dismantling of all existing 6 / 0.5 / 0.4 kV components
• Delivery and installation of a new 6 and 0.4 kV switchgear
• Delivery and installation of 2 6 / 0.4 kV transformers
• Electrical installation and commissioning

E&A has been entrusted with the design and implementation planning in accordance with HOAI and the preparation of the tender documents.

Our scope of services includes:

• Development of an electrical network model
• Creation of a single-line diagram for the entire electrical system
• Switchgear design
• 2D modeling of switch rooms
• Load flow calculation and short-circuit current calculation
• Analysis and description of the necessary primary and secondary technical measures
• Technical coordination and clarification of interfaces with the plant operator
• Preparation of an explanatory report and the bill of quantities
• Cost estimation and cost calculation
