Design contract for wastewater treatment facilities in Chemnitz

November 2020

E&A was commissioned by inetz GmbH to carry out service phases 1 and 2 for the modernization of wastewater treatment facilities in the Chemnitz metropolitan area.

As part of the project, a total of 11 structures – consisting of pumping stations and stormwater overflow basins – will undergo a comprehensive renovation of their control and monitoring systems and be brought up to the current state of the art. The goal is to sustainably improve the operational safety, efficiency, and future viability of the facilities.

The goal is to achieve the greatest possible standardization of the control and measurement equipment. Consequently, conceptual services must also be provided during service phases 1 and 2, which must be incorporated into the plant standard, which is also to be revised.
