Contract for the retrofit of secondary equipment at the Rattwitz substation

In collaboration with F&S PROZESSAUTOMATION GmbH, E&A Elektrotechnik und Automatisierung GmbH was commissioned by the Bautzen Energy and Water Works to modernize the secondary equipment at the Rattwitz switchyard (Bautzen). The scope of the project involves the renewal of the secondary equipment in a 20-bay switchgear facility.
Our scope of supply and services includes:
- Delivery, installation, configuration, and commissioning of the new bay protection devices
- Upgrade of the telecontrol connection for all bay protection devices
- Delivery, installation, and commissioning of the new arc protection system in all bays of the switchgear
- Secondary system retrofit of all bays of the switchgear
- Setup of the new communication network to connect all bay protection devices
- Conducting transformer tests
With this project, E&A and F&S are once again strengthening their expertise in the retrofitting of existing energy facilities – a key component of a reliable and efficient energy supply.
