Innovation for customer benefit is what drives us.

Our in-house development team is constantly working to optimize and further develop our products as the basis for tomorrow's solutions. Close cooperation with university research ensures innovation. In-house cooperation between development and project practice results in products that strengthen our system solutions in the long term and thus offer our customers future security.

A series of research projects are developing solutions for tomorrow:

DigiTechNetz

In the research project "Digitization Technologies for the Operation of Low-Voltage Networks," a consortium led by TU Dresden is working with partners from industry and research to develop innovative solutions for the energy supply of the future.

The aim is to develop concepts for digital operation management, test them in the field, and then integrate them into grid operation. One focus is on congestion management and real-time monitoring in order to reliably control the increasing feed-in of renewable energies and the use of electric vehicles and heat pumps.

Products whose innovation has benefited from research projects:

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of synchronous motors from one megawatt and generators up to the gigawatt range worldwide.

For thirty years, they have been regulating drives and generators in power plants, ships, trains, and industrial plants from 16.7 to over 100 Hz, and in special applications up to 400 Hz.

Our power electronics solutions are based entirely on in-house developments:

Control units for thyristors and power transistors, various air- and water-cooled power modules from the TIBS PM series, optically communicating measuring modules, and the universally applicable TIBS-SC control and regulation platform form the modular basis for a wide range of power converter solutions in the low and medium voltage range – perfectly coordinated and thought out in detail.
